Role Overview

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, a Revenue Operations Analyst ACE is a specialized role focused on improving the operational processes that drive revenue, streamline sales functions, and enhance productivity within a company. Situated within the Revenue Operations team, this role involves analyzing data to optimize sales strategies, aligning revenue goals across departments, and ensuring that sales workflows are efficient. By leveraging data and insights, Revenue Operations Analysts help companies align their marketing, sales, and customer success functions to maximize revenue growth.

Access Executive Development Program Overview:

Access is seeking exceptional individuals for the Access Creating Executives Program ("ACE Program"). ACE roles provide hands-on experience and exposure to key operational best practices and tactics of Access' portfolio strategy execution.

Candidates ("ACEs") join the ACE Program as members of an Access portfolio company, directly supporting and reporting to executives in key functions including Lead Generation, Revenue Operations, Digital / Business Intelligence, Finance, M&A / Corporate Development, Strategy, and Marketing. ACEs are expected to improve, execute, and document best practices within the key roles, developing a meaningful operational skillset.

ACEs will attend and participate in Access networking events, training sessions, and summits with other executives and ACEs across the Access portfolio. ACEs will work with Access to build skillsets, report out to other ACEs, develop playbooks, and provide insights to executives where appropriate. They will leverage key learnings across the current and future portfolio, while also driving projects and new investment opportunities. Top performers will have career path opportunities within their respective portfolio company and/or across other areas of the Access Holdings ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast revenue, and provide actionable insights to improve sales strategies and performance. This includes generating regular sales reports and dashboards for executive teams.
  • Process Optimization: Evaluate and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This may involve automating repetitive tasks, improving CRM systems, and ensuring that sales teams have the tools and resources they need to succeed.
  • Sales Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends, and industry benchmarks and developing realistic revenue targets and allocate resources appropriately.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to align their objectives with overall revenue goals. This includes coordinating initiatives such as lead generation campaigns, customer retention efforts, and upsell strategies.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales teams and revenue-generating activities. Use these metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to drive better results.
  • CRM Management: Ensure that the company's customer relationship management (CRM) system is properly maintained, updated, and fully utilized by sales teams. This includes data integrity, user training, and system customization.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning sessions to help determine the company's revenue goals and the tactics needed to achieve them. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and industry best practices.

Required Skills

  • Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze large sets of data and extract meaningful insights is crucial. This includes proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, as well as a strong understanding of statistical methods.
  • Attention to Detail: Revenue Operations Analysts ACE must have a keen eye for detail to identify discrepancies in data, track performance metrics, and ensure the accuracy of reports and forecasts.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert skills with Salesforce CRM systems, data visualization tools, and other software used in sales and revenue operations. This includes the ability to customize and optimize these tools to meet the company's needs.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication is vital for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings to stakeholders. This includes both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to identify problems within sales processes and develop innovative solutions to address them. This requires critical thinking and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and ensure that initiatives are completed on time and within budget.
  • Business Acumen: An understanding of the overall business landscape, including industry trends, competition, and market dynamics. This helps Revenue Operations Analysts make informed decisions that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with ability to influence and motivate stakeholders at all levels
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis, including functions, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Advanced experience in Power BI

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience in revenue operations, business analytics, or related roles.
  • Degree in accounting, finance, economics, or statistics.
  • Salesforce advanced administrator certification.
  • Salesforce app builder certification.
  • Strong experience working in world class ERP’s like NetSuite, etc. .
  • Top-tier strategy consulting experience a plus
